Spotlight on 1 Gold

This term, 1 Gold have been working on improving their writing. They have been learning to include adjectives, adverbs and noun groups to make their writing descriptive! 1 Gold read the book Isabella’s Bed and completed writing activities to help describe what is happening in the picture. To finish the unit, they wrote a descriptive paragraph describing one of the images in the book.

To finalise our writing program this term, 1 Gold have created Christmas cards to send to the residents of the local nursing home. We drafted and published a personal letter and created a design for the front.

We have had a fabulous year with 1 Gold and we are so proud of their achievements!
