Spotlight on K Green

What a fantastic end of the year we have had in K Green! We have enjoyed so many wonderful events and celebrations to wrap up our year. To begin Week 9, we started with the K-2 Christmas concert. The students shone so brightly up on stage dancing to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The next day we were lucky to have the Kamay Botany Bay Environmental Education Centre come to our school and deliver our Bush Christmas incursion. This session was both informative and engaging, where we learnt all about some native Australian animals. On Wednesday we had the opportunity to visit Year 1 to become familiar with their classroom and to help with our transition from Kindergarten to Year 1. Thank you K/1 Silver for having us and showing us what learning will be like next year. Finally, on Thursday we had the Teddy Bear’s picnic with our buddies. It was extra special and a beautiful way to farewell our amazing Year 6 buddies.

Kindergarten Green, you have come so far and achieved so much over the past year and I am beyond proud of each and every one of you. It has been an absolute pleasure teaching you all this year and watching you grow and achieve your goals. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a wonderful and relaxing holiday.
